With this new release of hovrsIM, you will find making a VRS call fast and
simple. You can now make video relay calls with either your Mac computer using
iChat, or with your PC using AOL Instant Messenger(AIM) 5.5.
HOVRS is proud to be the first video relay provider to provide you with a new
feature that allows you to type and see your text messages while you are using
your videophone (VP) using Hands On Video Relay Services (HOVRS). You can also
save your information onto the computer and print out the text messages when
you have completed your call.
How to use hovrsIM
Add "hovrsIM" to your buddylist.
Type "hello" to hovrsIM. (For Spanish VRS, type "hola" to hovrsIM.)
Step by Step using hovrsIM's VPChat Feature
Have your D-Link and TV turned on and ready.
Have your IP address ready.
Connect to "hovrsIM" with AIM on your computer or via your Sidekick pager
Type "VP" to hovrsIM.
hovrsIM will ask you a few questions to setup the call including the phone
number you want to call.
The HOVRS interpreter will connect to your D-Link and at the same time you can
type to each other with either your AIM device or your computer.

hovrsWidget is a one step process to make a Hands On VRS call using your dashboard. hovrsIM is the process of making a Hands On VRS call using iChat and contacting Hands On VRS with the hovrsIM buddy name. hovrsWidget is only available to Mac users with OS 10.4 (Tiger).
